Gleaning sweet potatoes for the local Food Pantry

                                     
Contributing food monthly to the Community Lunchbox (Disciples Women)

Sending local children to our NC Disciples regional camp for at-risk third to fifth graders since 2005

Providing class supplies to Pines Elementary school and delivering them to each class personally

Participating in Washington County Ministerial Association, which provides help to stranded travelers, sponsors the Turkey Trot to bring meals to local citizens in need, and presents two $500 scholarships to graduating Washington County seniors

Contributing canned food weekly for the local Food Pantry

Hosting a work team from CROSS ministry

Sponsoring local families and buy Christmas gifts for their children

Supporting overseas and youth mission trips

Providing funds, administered through the Outreach committee, for persons in need of emergency funds for rent or water bills
