My New year's/New Day Resolution Have you made a New Year's Resolution? If you have, how long do you expect it to last? I pray my resolution will last all 365 days of 2026. My 2026 New Year's Resolution is to get up EVERY day thankful for a brand new day and eager to find out what God has planned for me that day. Remember TODAY is the first day of the rest of your life! This resolution idea was ignited by meditating on our Living Fully, Dying Well bible study, as well as Thanksgiving and Advent devotions. We all know as we get older, we have a choice. We can look at each day as "just another day, all gloom-and-doom, and what can go wrong today OR we can wake up every day with a smile on our face, thank God for blessing us with another day, and ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to live this day to the fullest. Will it be easy to start every day with a positive, God-centered approach? Maybe not, but I hope if I focus on doing just that, it will hopefully become a good habit that is hard to break. Why not give it a try?
