We often hear "Thank you for your service" when someone recognizes a person who has served in the armed forces of the U.S.  Today, I want to THANK YOU for your service to our Lord and to others through the family of FCC Plymouth.
             God's church is not built around personalities - it is built around people.  You may not think you are gifted enough, spiritual enough, or experienced enough.  But the truth is: if you are following Jesus, YOU ARE ALREADY CALLED.  You are not just wanted, you are needed!  The Holy Spirit is stirring a movement right here at FCC Plymouth, in us.
               Let us become a church shaped by every gift - where no calling is too small and no soul is beyond reach.  If we are honest with ourselves, whether regular church goers, those who do not get out much, those who live away, young, older, male or female, we all have served our Lord and others in the past, in the present, and will continue in the future.  As you look over this year's volunteer survey, I hope you will study it, pray over it, and fill it out as the spirit leads you.  I ask that EVERYONE fill one out and return the form to the church by the end of August.  You may return the info personally to the church, mail it in, or email or contact me.  jimmyelks13@gmail.com or 252-661-0411.
